The sides are held together with a metal frame, and the earcups are constructed from a mixture of metallic mesh and textured plastic. The Kitty, Bear, and Bunny ears that come with the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Pro are interchangeable and can be customized according to yourpreferences. The top of the headband is wrapped in the same black faux leather, and the underside is covered in padded mesh. The top of the headset is layered with leather-like material and has “Razer” etched into the headband. The ear cushions are comfortable, even when worn over glasses, but tend to get hot, and the retractable mic is slick. It’s not the best mic in the world (more on that in a bit), but I never had any issues with clarity or consistency.

The microphone is also stellar, with clear vocals that far outshine many of the headsets I’ve tested.
