The final scene between Ellie and Joel, though, was like a bad cover version compared to the original game finale. Overall, throughout the series, while I think Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are completely unsuitable to the roles of Joel and Ellie, seeing the reaction to them on Reddit and various Facebook groups for The Last Of Us, and when you get one bunch of Gen Z-ers saying how wonderful they are, the rest won’t voice their own, true opinions, and just parrot what they’ve already heard, so they don’t get shunned by their peers.
