Design and Build Quality

Once you have completed the set up steps above, you can jump in to F1 23 and start updating your wheel settings. I’m going to start by looking at the Thrustmaster T248 F1 23 settings, as this is one of the most recent and most popular Thrustmaster racing wheels. I want to start off with one of the most important categories, the overall performance created by the wheel base. This is where the differences between the T-GT II and the GT DD Pro start. Thrustmaster has finally broken into the direct drive space with the introduction of the T818 racing wheel. The T818 produces 10Nm of torque from its direct drive motor. If you are racing with a belt-driven Thrustmaster racing wheel such as the TMX, T300RS, TS-PC or T-GT II you will have a fair few options available in the control panel.
