This first volume gets three things majorly right. First off, it is funny. I genuinely laughed several times while reading it as Mieruko sees something and does her absolute best to ignore it... which leads me to the second. The ghosts are horrific. I mean seriously... wow. In a way this adds to the comedy as she has to look at these things and just keep moving on as if nothing is happening, but seriously, some of these are the things of nightmares. Hazra, Adriana (October 3, 2021). "Muse Asia Streams Mieruko-chan, Mushoku Tensei, 4 More Anime in October". Anime News Network . Retrieved October 10, 2021.

this is a manga that starts off with one joke and a bizarrely leering camera, that eventually turns into something that is pretty good and interesting. The manga is well-paced, with well-crafted suspense, and provides both horrifying and humorous moments for its creativity to keep the reader engaged. The stories vary in length and tone, offering an actual progression and development of its world mix of short self-contained encounters and longer suspenseful arc-driven narratives.

And so, in a desperate struggle, master and apprentice face off—with the fates of Miko and Rom hanging in the balance! Mieruko-Chain can see the dead. She just chooses to ignore them. She doesn't want them knowing that she can see them. Mostly because she doesn't want them following her around everywhere. But when she goes to school and notices a lot of spirits following her best friend around she tries to find a solution to stop them from showing up so much. Hence we get plenty of funny situations and a rather sad and tender moment by the very end that made me want to read more. Pineda, Rafael Antonio (September 29, 2021). "Mieruko-chan Anime Casts Yūichi Nakamura as Zen Tohno". Anime News Network . Retrieved September 29, 2021. And speaking of, I’m very nervous about this new spiritualist, who was apparently Godmother’s last apprentice and the one I suspect sent her that photo… The fact that she won’t teach people anymore and that he’s so… creepy make me wonder what may happen… bad enough Miko has those creepy shrine maidens to deal with… now she has this weirdo too? IZUMI: There's nothing I could honestly classify as an experience, but since I'm a coward I don't go near scary-looking places. I'm also not very observant when it comes to these things, so even if I did see something I might not even notice. The plot is there, it’s slowly developing. At first there were really chapters that just showed how the heroine lives with it. But gradually chunks of the plot started to be thrown in for us. And sub-plots about some of the secondary characters. The main plot was just starting to unfold. Now I’m lying on my bed, it’s nighttime, and I’m just scaring to imagine that these creatures are real. And we just can’t see them. I have the immediate sensation that something is near, in short, my eyeball senses a catch. But the new substitute teacher is that creepy guy from the park—the one haunted by a bunch of ghost cats!

The highlights of the characters all have to do with the supernatural. But aside from that, they're pretty normal people. However, as mentioned above, Miko doesn't have much to her aside from just wanting to get An anime television series adaptation was announced on March 18, 2021. In other words, expect an emphasis on the horror side of this horror comedy) On the other side of the spectrum, the comedy in this manga consistently lands for me. I'm particularly fond of comedy where characters act as though strange events are perfectly normal, and this series hits the nail on the head with that. Seeing the MC's friend smiling happily next to a demon holding a butcher's knife, or another medium being confident in their abilities but failing to notice spirits devouring each other right next to them manages to make me laugh every time. Just FYI though the beginning has some kind of awkward fanservice, but it mostly stops after the first couple of chapters. to be haunted. There are also some details in the artwork that will give you a hint regarding the specifics of a spirit, again the manga doesn't tell you this, you'd only catch it if you already knew and if you didn't then the story works anyway.High school student Miko Yotsuya has the unfortunate ability to see horrifying ghosts and spirits that haunt her and the people around her. Despite this, Miko does her best to ignore the existence of ghosts and tries to live out a normal high school life. On December 10, 2021, Funimation announced the series would receive an English dub, which premiered on December 12. [3] No. Is there any horror media (live-action film, books, comics) that has influenced your work on MIERUKO-CHAN?
