About this deal

Lekto night briquettes are a good product, they’re environmentally friendly and they’re helping us keep warm this winter. To further test their use, I have now turned off my central heating system altogether to see how effective these combined fuels are keeping my family warm this winter. I will follow up in January with an update on how this is going. Sign up to my newsletter (you’ll find this in my sidebar) or follow my blog to keep updated on progress. The name “Night Briquette” comes from the fact that you can light the briquettes before going to bed at night and they’ll still be burning when you wake up 7-8 hours later. You really do not want to over-fire your woodburner and distort the metal work! Woodlets Briquettes are made from mixed softwoods, compressed into dense, chunky heat logs. The sawdust comes from sustainably managed British forests. Burning characteristics: I know there is some controversy on whether peat should be burned at all, as it isn't the most sustainable fuel. I hear Bord Na Mona will soon seize all operations on harvesting peat. This aside, as mentioned, I have a big batch of it.
