About this deal

their parents. I loooove how Gianni’s dad talks to him. I haven’t read all the parent books, but I want to now ❤️ Tease is the 8th book in the Cloverleigh Farms Series, but it can be read as a standalone. I loved this billionaire, smalltown, fake fiancé, secret pinning, friends to lovers romance. I attended Miami Ohio and earned a degree in American Studies. Not very useful, but I loved every moment of it, and I know my studies taught me how to read deeper into any kind of story–whether it was the story of a person, a place, or a historical event. I credit my high school English teacher Ms. Cook and some of my professors at Miami with teaching me how to write in my own voice and trust it, especially Elliott Gorn. Hutton also had a side that I appreciated and understood, and they’re sort of unexpectedly steamy together—and I love me a heroine who knows what she wants! Felicity’s sisters provide amazing advice, and so does Hutton’s sister. Because everyone sees it—in fact, everyone’s seen it since they were teens. They were just waiting for them to open their eyes. Their friendship was also so sweet. They’ve been friend since the 7th grade so they already had that deep connection and knew each other pretty well. Although they lost touch and reconnected before the story started, it didn’t feel like we were missing anything. They were both the smart, shy kids in school and it was cute when we got little glimpses into their past, passing coded notes and being a ball of nerves around the other person.

their “imperfections” make them human. Hutton’s has social anxiety and generally stays quiet; Felicity can be awkward and has a nose bleeding problem on top of her fear of people leaving her; but these two together are perfect in my eyes 🤷🏻‍♀️. I love that MH had people that helped write these two characters, especially with Hutton’s SAD Whenever it comes to Melanie Harlow’s books, I never know what I’m going to get. But she never disappoints. And with this second generation of Cloverleigh Farm characters, my heart is full. This is the third book featuring the kids of the original set of characters from Cloverleigh Farms and Bellamy Creek; and I have loved every single one so much that I never want this series to end! And let’s not forget all of the delicious covers that Melanie’s been using for these books, it’s impossible to not want to read them all!Chloe wishes that it was the last dare she ever took from him, and the last bet she made with him, and the last time she ever trusted Oliver. Except it wasn’t. Because he had the gall to grow up sexy, charming, and beautiful. And while they got older, the dares just got dirtier, and the betting stakes got higher, until he left her in pieces, finally. Chloe swore that she would never speak to him ever again. Melanie Harlow definitely knows how to do small-town romance justice! Tease is the 8th installment in the Cloverleigh Farms series, following characters from the second generation, and while this entire series brings ALL the feelings and the best tropes to life, it can be read as a standalone. the lie he tells 😬. Look. It’s almost required in a forced proximity book 💁🏻‍♀️. How else would they spend more time together 😈?

Except she blurts out that she’s engaged to him 🫣when her high school nemesis flaunts her upcoming nuptial and engagement 😅. So he shows up in all his handsome, billionaire glory, and all of a sudden they’re getting married in about a month. And let me tell you about the tension. The TENSION. How did MH avoid a slow burn but still build up the pay off like she did?? I was gasping up every time they even hugged or brushed elbows haha The only thing I felt was missing was ONE scene from Hutton's POV (I don't want to spoil it), but it was something I would have like to see him accomplish... iykyk... Antes que nada, no es de los mejores libros de Melanie, tenía más altas expectativas, pero aun así es mucho mejor que sus últimos libros.

Publication Order of Bellamy Creek Books

and my Gianni and Ellie crumbs🥺 i love my little crazy cherry blossom bitches. i can’t wait for Millie to get a book! i didn’t think id end up being so invested in the series, yet here we are. Overall, I loved the first 60% and liked the last 40%. It fizzled out and got corny (for my taste), but the good outweighed the bad.
