I honestly haven’t read much new manga lately. I’ve spent most of my time reading non-graphic novels and non-fiction books, so my manga reading list has grown steadily longer, causing much anxiety. Also, because I tend to read series when I buy them, it’s taken me ages to get through manga these days. That’s been the main reason behind the delay in Dorohedoro updates, and why I haven’t written a review of Witch Hat Atelier even though I really love it. I’m just following everything very slowly and buying volumes when I can. Review- Lots of plot things happen in this volume with Kaya realizing that working for Kyohei is more complicated than she had thought. Add in in fact that Kyohei only is happy when he is getting her blood and you have romantic complications all over the place. They really start their relationship in this volume and I can see where there are going to be problems. Kyohei has never been around other vampires because his mother left the vampire community to be with his father, so he has no idea about the other vampires in the world and I am sure that is going to be the main problem of the series but I could be wrong. I look forward to seeing where we go next with these characters.I’m a junkie for this series. After reading book one, I went through withdrawal symptoms waiting for part two to come out. I tried to be patient but you know how it is when you become so attached to a book series, patience goes out the window. I fantasized various scenarios (some outlandish, most super-sexy) and when I finally read part two (in one sitting), Erin Bedford blew my freakin’ mind! Magic is a tool to bend to our will. I have an entertaining new manga review to share with you today. Midnight Secretary Volume 2 by Tomu Ohmi is the second magna in the Midnight Secretary Series. This was such a fun read that I devoured it in one sitting, and decided to binge the entire series! The cover design is sleek, modern, yet whimsical. ISBN 978-4-09-130857-3.The good parts were. the family drama, art was nice. There were boobs even though the sex was pretty weak. And i like boobs. Drama plus boobs = 3/10 1 for each boob The progression of the characters is fantastic. Both Kaya, Kyouhei, Masaki, and Marika grow so much during the course of the manga. I loved watching as Kyouhei let his guard down and Marika began to accept that his pride had only grown more.

Their relationship grows, but they have some inner problems. Kaya isn't sure whether she is just a "meal" for him, just his secretary, or something more. Kyouhei believes that Kaya is only doing her secretarial duty by keeping her boss in good health, which is what she says, but he wants her to let her guard down. Kyouhei is also a very prideful vampire and it's looked down upon to fall in love with a human. Late in the series, Kaya is diagnosed as anemic, and has to start taking iron tablets and adjust her diet to compensate. As might be expected for someone regularly feeding a vampire. Japanese manga is one of the best types of comic for you to read. Manga has amazing art style and exciting storytelling. It's one of those books where I looked at the premise and thought it was interesting, but didn't expect the writing to be my type of thing. For the most part, that was about right for me since I ended up laughing most of the time. This is part one of the Vampire CEO series. An engaging novella that is very well developed with no plot holes. The descriptions are very detailed & extremely vivid & realistic as they draw you in right from the beginning. With entertaining character's that are intriguing. Another phenomenonal novel by one of my favourite authors as the premise is captivating. I love the distinctive writing style of this author. I highly recommend reading this paranormal romance novella as it is fabulous. So excited for book 2 in this remarkable series.
