The only fault I find with it is I think the bottle is very tacky :/ and i'm not very fussy about bottles, it's the juice that counts in my eyes.

Agent Provocateur fragrances seem to have a reputation for being controversially too mature or kinky sexy. I just tried this today and I think it's amazing, it really lives up to the positive reviews that it gets. This opens with aldehydes, which tinge the florals with their soapiness and give the scent it's retro appeal. I really love it, easy to wear, a bit different and really comfortable, doesn't irritate me at all, just melds into my skin.This scent matches up with the Greek poetess Sappho's prayer to Aphrodite to get a man to fall in love with her. I love it just because it's so pleasing to me, rather than for any effect it may have on the man in my life (who would probably be more excited by a fragrance based on bacon anyway! Both the signature Agent Provocateur fragrance and the sensual new Fatale reflect her seductive personality, whilst the flirtatious aroma and magnetic allure of Maitresse highlights her lust for life.

To me this is not soapy at all it is very light and airy, I would describe Jlo glow as a musky soapy scent and this is nothing like that.

I look st my bottle and it seems in the same family as AP petale noir, which isn't noir to me, it's like this but doesn't last, and a Prada infusion de orangeir which I recently tried.

In my book this would only make it to the' okay, I'll use this up at work, because I wouldn't have any other occasion for it'-compartment. It's lovely, absolutely, and it is clearly recognizable as part of the Agent Provocateur family by it's typical floral-musky base. Come other seasons, the perfume will become a version which is to be appreciated and bearable to pleasant; violets, aldehydes, musk, pink silk and pom-pom pantofells vibes.Agent Provocateur Maitresse is an intoxicating perfume with the passionate top notes of white lotus petals and delicate nuances of white ylang-ylang, caressed by the pure essence of osmanthus core and immersed deep into jasmine sambac.

The scent is almost ladylike, which immediately makes me want to pair it with some naughty lingerie. It is very different from Agent Provoateur original in that it doesnt have the prominent rose/honey mix. I must say (even when it sounds a little vain) that I had expected it, or at least, wished it, to happen: so I responded to his gesture in the exact same way.Everything is just "nice" to him usually (except JPG Classique, which is what i wore when we first met) but when i put this on, he couldn't stop smelling me. Aldehydes that are soft and don’t actually sparkle so much as gently shine through a veil of floral silk atop a very subtle buttery suede. I usually am unable to wear perfumes with amber as they give me a headache, but the suede and musk couple with the flowers really fight with the sweetness of the amber. Top notes are Ylang-Ylang and Lotus Petals; middle notes are Iris, Osmanthus, Jasmine Sambac and Violet Leaf; base notes are Musk, White Suede, Amber and Cedar. Although the juice comprised of interesting notes like white lotus petals, white ylang ylang, violet leaves, jasmine, rose, iris, amber, patchouly and white suede, as an amateur, all I can say it’s a bit oriental, exotic, may also be erotic for some people but not for me.
