It is perfect for people who need to streamline their space and need to type for long periods of time. I can see the solid backlight being useful as the days get shorter but the light patterns only serve to make my son jealous!

Kev 03/06/2022I already have this keyboard for my M1 MacBook Pro but I kept messing up typing as I frequently swap to my windows PC which had a G5 Logitech keyboard. In the end, I still think that if you really need something specific like me, it is still a good purchase.

The only slight downside for me is the choice of switches; the only tactile option is the Gateron Browns, which aren't very tactile at all IMO. For players who are accustomed to a PC layout and need more desk space, we highly recommend this layout. I really like the fact I can have it linked to 3 different devices and can easily switch between them.

Carl 22/11/2020The K2v2 is a great keyboard that's a pleasure to type on with the Gateron Brown switches. You can find the USB Type C port used to connect it to your Mac or PC on the left side of the chassis. I love how much space there is on my table because this is a smaller keyboard than one with the numeric pad built in. Thanks to our engineering team, a wireless mechanical keyboard can have these capabilities right out of the box. Both keyboards are available in various switch options, and the Vortex has a variant with backlighting.However, it has a smaller footprint than most full-size mechanical keyboards, but it doesn’t compromise the functionality front. and a braided USB-C cable, because it’s nice to have choices), configuration options for Mac and Windows, an industry-leading 4000 mAh battery, several attractive lighting modes, and a selection of Gateron mechanical keyswitches (the usual suspects – red, brown and black). The added sound-absorbing foam, a thick silicone dampening bottom pad, and steel plate provide responsive feedback and a peaceful typing sound, while added weight will enhance the stability. It's the updated version of the Keychron K2 V1, which doesn't have an incline frame or a Caps Lock indicator light.
