About this deal

As you may remember, Zed's been trying to get with Tessa since the beginning of time, but knowing he has a strong friendship with Tessa, Hardin puts that aside because he's desperate to help her however he can. Tessa was expecting this because Hardin told her in the morning that she should go back to the States while he would stay in London. Come on baby, let's go get a room and do you know what" I grin and emphasise the last part as she grabs my hand.

Hardin acted like he’d removed his extra douche characteristics with a surgery and Tessa stopped being self destructive cry baby and wore big girl pants to see how her life would be without Hardin. Hardin wakes up the next morning and Tessa tells him Vance told the police he had set the fire himself. It took them going through so much pain to get through the issues they had with themselves, even if it may have ended up costing them their relationship. It’s a Wattpad sensation, so I suppose they don’t want to change too much incase they upset the core fan base. In August 2022, it was announced that production had commenced on a secret sequel to After Ever Happy.

Hardin becomes a New York Times bestseller author and Landon a fifth-grade teacher at a public school. I completely agree with all negative and positive comments, statements, and reviews ever written about this series, because it is everything everyone has ever said about it. After Tessa found out about the book Hardin wrote about their story, two years pass and we are at Landon’s weeding (with whom, we don’t know). In this book they’re back together in terms of they live in the same house for most of the story, talk all the time, have sex etc, but they are not together because she’s supposedly not letting him treat her that way anymore. He has convinced himself once more than he doesn’t deserve happiness and that this is who he was always meant to be.

I guess Tessa stood her ground (kinda) and did her own thing away from him (which was kinda good) for a couple years. The film stars Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin reprising their roles as Tessa Young and Hardin Scott, respectively. The cycle is beginning to end in After Ever Happy: Anna Todd has finally brought about the improvements to characters and acknowledges quite a few things that should have been present in the After series since at least book two. While we spent three books blaming the guy Hardin thought was his dad for messing him up with his alcoholism and abandonment, it’s actually his mum who deserves to bear the blame. He literally doesn't seem to have a single fond memory that has anything to do with her as a person or her interests.

Tessa constantly apologized for "not being able to fix" Hardin, making me unsure who I hated more: a girl who clearly has no idea how to be an adult and who always has to make everything about her and everyone's perceptions of her, or a boy who is so destructive to himself and others that there's LITERALLY NO WAY he wouldn't be in jail or forcibly admitted to a hospital of some kind to receive treatment for his mental health and anger issues.

This whole book was like running uphill - you don't want to do it and you're not sure why you started in the first place but you push on because you feel you have something to prove and even though it was a dumb idea you feel like you accomplished something when you reach the top because it was the worst decision you've made in a while and you clearly didn't look at your life and your choices. I personally walked into this book with doubts as to whether that would be the case, and what I can say is that I was happy with the way Anna wrapped things up, it was real and it made you think and value what they once had and what it became throughout the course of all 4 books. At this point, I couldn't comprehend what was happening, I seriously had to take a break to regroup.

The book wasn't "I need to light myself on fire" levels of bad but I definitely won't be gathering around the fireplace with it. Ten words to describe Theresa Lynn Young, Tessa: Hard-headed, organized, meek, compulsive, goal-oriented, determined, naïve, trusting, curious and forgiving. With more touching and real topics happening throughout, and more human reactions were given in response to each issue. It’s very steamy and if you’re into that kinda read (and have a lot of patience)- I’d definitely recommend this.
