The LG 32UL950-W is a good 32" IPS monitor with great screen real estate thanks to the 4k resolution. It’s worth noting that LG’s new 2021 models, like the LG 24QP500-B, have exceeded expectations, being this one, one of LG’s greatest launches so far. Both deliver very similar overall picture quality, but the 32UL950 supports FreeSync, which is great for gaming, and has more inputs.

They decided to increase the overall brightness to 400 cd/m2 nits, which is a high-end figure and a superb total for a VA panel. with the 27UK650-W last year, the display would sometimes restart itself when loading the Netflix and/or VUDU app on my Xbox One S and PC.The speaker is a device, which converts electrical audio signals into acoustic vibrations resulting in corresponding sounds.

The LG 32UL950-W and the LG 40WP95C-W both target media creators, but the 40WP95C-W is better overall. With the three-color finish and the half-circular stand, this monitor immediately reminded me of the LG 27UL650-W. The operating humidity shows the acceptable level of humidity, in which the display will function flawlessly. Furthermore, thanks to the 1,07B color support, the panel quality of this display is equivalent to or even better than other mid/low-end IPS screens. Currently, the LG 32UL750-W is certainly the cheapest high-end professional monitor with HDR 600 support.

Starting with the panel type, we have the VA panel, which is middle and most balanced among the three (TN, VA, IPS). The large, high resolution screen delivers a more immersive gaming experience, and it has low input lag for an immersive experience.

If you are sensitive to PWM flicker, setting the brightness to the maximum setting will stop the backlight from flickering. The 40WP95C-W has a larger, higher-resolution screen, meaning you can see more of your workflow at once, and it has much better accuracy out of the box. On-Screen Control* puts a host of essential monitor settings into a handy window for quick, easy access. Unfortunately, the local dimming feature actually makes things worse, as the edge-lit system can only dim the columns that are far away from the test cross, and there is still noticeable bleed. Discover a more lifelike picture with high dynamic range, which provides bolder contrast between the brightest and darkest areas of the screen.

Update 08/17/2020: We've retested the HDR peak brightness to ensure that it's measured with local dimming enabled, as per our methodology.
