About this deal

What emerged from those sessions was Come Morning: a transportive album built for the heart, the head, and the headphones. Breathy vocals feature here and while it probably drove their teenage fans crazy with its sensual mood, it feels pretty weak to me. The song peaked at number two in Ireland [10] and in the top ten in eight other countries across the world, as well as giving them their second top ten hit on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.

Landreth’s nighttime shows, then Come Morning sketches a markedly different picture, showcasing the introspection and clarity that comes with a long period of rest. The album closes with Sister, a tribute to their late sister Carolyn, to whom the whole album is dedicated after she was killed by a drunk-driver. The track "Sister" was written about Matt and Luke's stepsister Carolyn, who was killed in a collision with a drunk driver in London in 1988. Years of near-constant touring in support of its release left the brothers exhausted, however, and the band took a three-year break before regrouping for 2019’s ’87.Bros reissued a remixed version of "I Owe You Nothing" as a single in June 1988, which became their only number one single in the UK. Their second video release, Push Over, was a collection of music videos for singles taken from their Push album.

And that's Bros' big problem: about half the songs on this LP are just ideas thrown together and never really finished properly. This is followed by lead single Too Much which opens with some bouncing shabby synths as a beat kicks in and Matt Goss’ signature ‘ hurrugh’ vocal arrives. The energy found in their debut Push (from the previous year) is absent at times, but the album still makes for a decent companion. John Jackson - Lucien George - Brian George - Curtis Bedeau - Hugh Clarke - Gerard Charles - Paul George / Composers: Kenneth Ifill - Ernesto Shaw, Jr.Legendary ’70s folk-rock pioneers Lindisfarne make their Cadogan Hall debut, with a classic five-piece line-up of long-time members fronted by founder-member Rod Clements on vocals, mandolin, fiddle and slide guitar. A comprehensive booklet featuring sleeve notes and a full UK discography featuring many of their sleeves.
