About this deal

I don’t mind pampers for during the day but find they don’t last well through the night and feel much heavier in the morning for some reason than the aldi’s.

Indeed, ALDI was the most awarded retailer at the NPPAs - proof that when it comes to baby and toddler care, ALDI is top of the class! Our testers were impressed with how absorbent Aldi Mamia Newborn Premium Dry Fast 2 Mini Nappies are. Now 9 years into motherhood and enthusiastic about finding great products and helpful solutions for busy families to make life more fun and easier too. The reusable nappy market is growing and rightly so, with millions of disposable nappies filling up landfill every single day, a reusable nappy is not only better for the environment but great for your wallet to. I don’t mind the brand Pampers at all — actually their baby wipes are among the best ones on the market — but these nappies are just not good enough and do not live up to their promises. The size 1 nappies are for newborn babies and at 79p a pack, they're way cheaper than the more expensive Pampers brand. With the Asda baby club, you can enter competitions to win free products as well as exclusive offers for parents. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain.

They do not absorb wee well at all and for us they only last a couple of hours and absolutely not overnight. Aldi Mamia New Born Nappies claim to “keep your newborn comfortable and dry whilst your baby adjusts to its new surroundings”.I want all mums to find the right nappies for them and their family no matter which brand they are and the best way of doing this is by trying a few different options and seeing which ones you like the best. I completely agree with you – this is just my experience and not everything that works for one person works for everybody else. I’d heard the hype about the Mamia brand and read about their “anti-leakage system”, but I didn’t believe it until I’d tested them on 4-week-old poo factory Evie, a baby so discerning that even a mere hint of a dirty nappy sends her into a massive screaming fit. I’ve had problems with other nappies before – Sainsbury’s own brand were the same and could not be trusted for more than a couple of hours.

Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) are international organisations that work to promote sustainable and responsible forest management. Sainsbury’s Little Ones nappies have a 3D liner which absorbs soft poo and wee helping to keep your baby’s skin dry, and a wetness indicator at the front of the nappy. Babies are all built differently though, so one brand/size might work for one baby but not for another, so it's sometimes a case of trying different brands until you find the right fit for your baby. They have overlapping tapes for a more secure fit, leg cuffs to protect against leaks and a shaped core to provide more comfort.
