Magaluf, Let’s get some vitamin sea
aturday the 4th of May, Fiona and myself are embarking on an adventure. It’s been 2 years since we both went on holiday, so we decided to book a getaway to Magaluf
However, Magaluf isn’t somewhere I’ve ever thought of going on holiday. With Santorini (Greece) being high up on the list, I’m not quite sure how I was talked into going. When you think of this place you think of hardcore partying. For me yes that may be great for a night or two but I’m more about exploring and having beach days. That way I’m very glad Fiona is on the same wave length with me on this one. 5 days of Sun, Sea and Adventures is something we have both needed for a long while.
Scouring the many websites all over the internet, we nearly gave up when I came across an amazing deal not to be missed. Love Holidays is a very good website where I’ve booked a holiday through before.
HM Martinique Hotel
The hotel looked beautifully presented and gave off more of a boutique feel. Boasting newly refurbished and with 4 stars, we checked the rooms and facilities and instantly fell in love with the Hotel. The HM Martinique hotel sounded the perfect hotel. Boasting 4 Pools, 3 outdoor and 1 indoor. Spa facilities, Tennis Courts and a gym. This hotel sounds like a hotel of dreams.
This hotel offers all inclusive, so it would be rude not to go all inclusive. The hotel consists of a “Lounge Bar” that is designed for guests to sit back and enjoy a good conversation with friends and family over a nice drink in a laid-back atmosphere. A “Premium Bar” that serves cocktails made with the finest Premium spirits. You also get to have a leisurely swim in the pool. As well as, “Outdoor Bars” where you can lie back on one of the sunbeds and treat yourself to a delicious snack, an ice cream or a drink.
Not far from our hotel is Playa De Magaluf beach. White sands, turquoise sea and palm tree vibes. As I’m not really a lover of swimming pools I would rather grab my towel and talk a stroll to the beach. The beach has so many activities we can join in on, for example… hiring a boat and also playing volleyball are just some of the things they have to offer on this beach. They also have a lot of bars and restaurants within walking distance to keep you hydrated and fed.
What I’m looking forward too to the most is lying down horizontally on a sun bed with the sun hitting me skin. Then when I get too hot I shall run into the sea to cool down. This holiday is a first in a long time and boy do we both need it after the next few weeks. They’re going to be full on with moving to Manchester. Transferring with my job and meeting my new co-workers. After the year Fiona and I have had we both need a well earned break away from everything.
