We finally made it to 2019. This brand new year has been a long time to coming, after last years ups and downs 2019 is finally here to keep me going on this crazy adventure that is called life.
2018 was a mixed bag of emotions for me. The first part of the year started off amazing. Moving out and renting the cutest little house, scoring myself some big blogger collaborations, being in a relationship and creating such amazing memories with friends. The second half of the year not so much. Becoming single, countless times I’ve been really poorly, almost giving up on my blog and Instagram completely, family health, countless failed dates. The list could go on. But I did my utter best not to let it get the best of me.
2019 is the year I really start to make time for myself. To take time out for me and no one else. I want to focus more on my blogging and Instagram once again as I kind of neglected my blogging towards the end of 2018. However the month of December I had an influx of creativity and I was loving the Christmas content I was putting out. Which made me realise just how much I really enjoy blogging and being creative.
I started 2019 with one of the best people ever. Fiona, my best friend. We partied it up in the gorgeous city of Liverpool. I couldn’t think of anything better to start off a brand new year with one of my favourite people. We had so many laughs and giggles over the 2 days we were in Liverpool. It was so nice to celebrate this new and exciting year with someone who is on the same wavelength as me.
Whilst in Liverpool I got creative with new content for my Instagram. Where my new theme has taken off. I’ve wanted a theme for so long on my Instagram and I’ve finally fallen in love with a theme to keep it up on the gram. This was one of the main goals I wanted to focus on this year. To up my insta game.
I didn’t want to set myself any goals for this year as I always pressure myself to always work so hard at them. Instead, I just want to enjoy what this year has to bring me. But as previously said I wanted to up my Instagram to a standard I really love. I want to focus more on my blog and start to venture out into different niches other than fashion. I want to get myself out there more. But most of all I want to enjoy myself and have so much fun this year. With moving to Manchester, moving jobs or even potentially getting a new job it’s going to be tough. But I’m so ready for what this year has to hold. I’m so ready to just be me and enjoy 2019.
