There’s no better month than summer, and thank god we’re actually having one at the minute! We’re not usually graced with such good weather, yet for the past nearly 2 months, we’ve had some of the best weather that this country has ever seen. No longer do we feel such an urge to escape the cold and head to a different country, we’re desperately trying to find somewhere that sells a fan to keep us cool. So, with all this summer weather, comes a need to sort out our summer style. We can’t just rely on the same shorts and T-shirt that we had from our holiday last year, it’s time to get creative. So, here’s some summer styling that we think you need whilst the weather is still hot!
You Can’t Go Casual At Formal
There’s nothing worse than knowing you’ve got to go to a meal, to a restaurant that is 100 million degrees, and then to step outside to feel the same heat. If you’re going to something formal, this is what you might have to deal with. But sometimes, you can’t afford to dress it down because of the occasion, so you’re going to have to dress up comfortably. The first thing you need to start with is a nice shirt, you can find some examples on John Henric. Then you definitely don’t want to go for jeans or smart trousers, no matter how important the occasion is. To let your legs breathe for a little, try some denim shorts or even some dark coloured chino shorts if you want to save a bit of class. It’s so much more comfortable to sit in that, and you’ll still look so fresh. Accessorise with a smartwatch, some fashion only glasses, and you will still look just as sophisticated as if you were wearing a full suit.
You don’t want to be all layered up in this heat, and the last thing you want is to be walking around trying to look sharp 24/7. So, sometimes you just need to dress it down a bit and realise that the more simple you look, the more stylish you can be. Go for block colours, maybe white and red, black and white, or blue and black. Just two colours for the outfit, and keep it simple. It’ll look so effective than adding in so many different elements to your outfit. Keep the trainers fresh, and the Tee fresh, and you’ll always look dapper.
The Beach Look
Since one of the places you might be thinking about going is the beach, you need to try and master the beach look. It’s that surfboarder edgy look that so many people want. First of all, you need some ripped denim jean shorts, preferably the pale denim colour. Then, you want to get yourself a nice tank top, whilst making sure you’re throwing a bit of colour in there. Getting yourself some converse pumps, and a flat back cap will complete the look. The surfer look is simple, yet looks perfect for the beach.
