Signature Beard Grooming
-Gifted Post-
Due to growing a beard, I’ve tried all sorts of different beard grooming options to create a grooming routine that will make my beard at it’s best. Some have been good and others have been downright awful, not giving me what I want for my beard. “Mo Bro’s” aren’t like other brands. Founded in 2014, Mo Bro’s premium beard and moustache grooming brand have promised dedication to help bearded men look their best. As a result, they are becoming one of the leading beard and grooming companies in the UK.
Mo Bro’s gifted me a beard grooming kit. Which can be personalised as a gift for whom you buy it for, or if you want to be hella fancy you can just have it personalised for yourself. Described as a “treasure trove of beardsman’s utensils” it lived up to its name.
What’s in the box?
Beard Wash –
When it comes to beard grooming, beard wash is a must-have product. Cleaning your beard to start the day and at the end of a long day should be within your routine. Mo Bro’s beard wash is formulated to keep your beard clean and conditioned without breaking down its natural oils. I’ve started to use this product 4 days ago and my beard has never felt so soft before. With its amazing cedarwood smell, that lasts all day my beard feels nourished and conditioned after every use!
Beard Oil –
Beard oil is a product most bearded men should be using. Bread oil provides moisture to the skin. In addition to this, it will rid of the itchy phase of beard growth and also prevent dry skin. After using the beard wash apply the beard oil into your palms then work it into your beard from the bottom to the top of your beard. Again, I’ve used this product for 4 days and my beard hasn’t had dry skin underneath during using these products. Just like the beard wash, it combines cedarwood which makes it smell so good.
Beard Balm –
I’d never heard of a beard balm before using Mo Bro’s products. A beard balm is a balm that tames your beard. It’s ideal for thin, patchy and misbehaving beards. The balm provides a voluminous look as well as softening, nourishing and conditioning the beard. I gave the balm a try over the 4 days and my beard where it was patchy did begin to look full. In addition to this, it did tame those flyaway hairs.
Moustache Wax –
Moustache wax is something out of the box I haven’t used as my moustache isn’t long enough. However, looking at the little booklet that comes with the box telling you about each of the products it says ” Our unique combination of ingredients has culminated in a wax capable of taming the most unruly facial whiskers, whilst moisturising the skin beneath”
Accessories –
A beardsman needs some form of tools and accessories to sculpt his beard. Within the box came a pair of razor edge beard trimming scissors, a mirror, beard brush and a hessian bag to store your accessories. These accessories have proven most useful when it comes to trimming my beard and using the products on the brush.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I have now been converted into a Mo Bro’s Beard Grooming consumer. The products smell amazing and leave my beard feeling soft, conditioned and looking luscious. If you don’t have a beard but know somebody that does, they have a wide range of gifting options over at their website. But they are brilliant if you just fancy treating yourself to some premium beard grooming products. I most certainly will be using them from now on!
