Pin your way to create something visually interesting and inspiring with Pinterest.
Pinterest is something I’ve heard a lot of bloggers talking about. I didn’t really understand the concept of the website. Why would people go to a website just to make a board? However, now I’ve fallen in love.
Pinning on boards became an obsession when I noticed a few other bloggers showcasing their Pinterest accounts. I signed up to the website wondering what I was going to expect. Having read reviews from various bloggers, a lot of people really raved about the website. I kept reading that people were becoming obsessed with it. I signed into the first page and it asked me what kind of things I wanted to see on my main page. So I picked a few things I thought I’d like to see such as photography, typography, and fashion.
Once I had picked these, images started appearing on my dashboard. I was a little confused what I had to do. After reading blog posts and trying to understand what I was to do I started to understand what Pinterest was all about. I started to make different pin boards such as Photography, Quotes, Home Decor and even boards for my blog.
After you start to pin to these boards more images corresponding to that board start to appear on your main dashboard. This makes it easier for you to pin to your boards to create inspiring boards yourself. As well as creating such beautiful boards, Pinterest is a perfect platform to interact with other bloggers and other people that share the same wavelength of creativity. This is another reason I’ve fallen in love with the platform. In addition to this, it’s given me so many ideas in aspects of Home DIY, Photography and even fashion.
I’m still not 100% on the website as I don’t understand the view’s element. But since I’m pinning every day the unique views and monthly views are going up. To say I’ve only been pinning for a while to attract that many unique viewers are an achievement I’m really happy with. On top of this, I’ve been able to pin about my website. I’ve created its own board when I post on my blog I then take the cover image of that post and pin it to the board. Which is really helping me expand my audience in the blogging world.
I really enjoy going on to Pinterest every day. It has given me inspiration for home interior, photography and even fashion. It’s an amazing website that you all should go and check out. Let Pinterest take over your creativity and inspiration!
