About this deal

Certified by the BBA since 1995, Dryseal is guaranteed for 20 years against leaks and is installed by fully trained Approved Contractors.

DrySeal is a unique, thixotropic, water-repelling masonry protection cream which can be used on a range of building materials. Dependent on porosity, the effective siloxane ingredient penetrates the substrate within a short time (30 minutes to several hours) where it reacts to become a polymer silicone resin. The Masonry Protection Cream provides long lasting protection from water penetration and the spread of damp in masonry and brickwork by filling the porous voids within the substrate without blocking them. Description: With its unique thixotropic consistency and excellent water repellent properties on a range of building materials, Wykamol Dryseal Waterproofing Cream stands out. This highly effective damp proofing system will also provide a highly effective additional barrier to flooding as part of any existing flood protection system. It will also retain the original dry appearance of the substrate so it is ideally suited for application to brickwork, stonework and most forms of unprotected masonry. The effectiveness of winter insulation is related to the thickness of growth, which is generally related to the age of the plant.

Dryseal Basements did a thorough, careful and thoughtful survey and then carried out the work very professionally, neatly and to a high standard. The proposal is to power wash, repoint where necessary (some will come out with the washing, some is already off, most is perfectly sound) and then to coat the walls with the masonry cream. For further information please download our data sheets or contact the Wykamol Technical Department. In case there are folk that haven't come across this thread yet, I want to ask again if anyone can recommend a good paint on waterproofing solution for breeze block walls.

Julie went through all the options with me, worked with the agent to get access to the property and got the survey done within a couple of days. I had my chimney rebuilt and although it was a good job the bricks used were particularly porous and soaked into the chimney breast each time it rained. With its unique thixotropic consistency and excellent water repellent properties on a range of building materials, DRYSEAL stands out. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.High salt concentrations (especially chlorides, nitrates and sulphates) may lead to damage that cannot be prevented by a water repellent treatment alone.

Checked to see how effective it is during a wet day and you can see the water beading up and rolling away unlike untreated brickwork. They mention that it does a great job, has good water repellency, and easily fixes damp wall problems.Dry-Seal waterproofing cream offers excellent adhesion to vertical and overhead surfaces and outstanding impregnation that can only be matched by 3 or 4 treatments using a liquid water repellent cream. I applied the cream by hand using a small 30mm paint brush, quite a task but seems to have worked well . During a visit to the NSBRC visitors have the opportunity to request information from our exhibitors using our unique barcode system. The substrate must be dry prior to application, otherwise this will present a barrier to the Masonry Cream soaking into the surface. Dryseal is a BBA approved external brick and render water repelling, salt inhibiting masonry protection cream which is deeply penetrating and can be used on all types of masonry.
