About this deal

The series begins after Doug and Carrie have been married for 3 years, and how they met is somewhat unclear due to continuity issues.

The more impulsive and broad-minded of the couple, Carrie often pushes Doug to make more of himself and improve his outlook, but she is generally just as mean-spirited as he is. Doug's tendency to give in to his temptations, despite promising Carrie otherwise, is another common cause of conflict. Lou does not like people telling him Hulk jokes, for instance, and other characters often make reference to that previous role.Romano's appearance was successful enough to warrant all other lead characters ( Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Doris Roberts, and Peter Boyle) to appear as their respective characters as well. And last but not least Jerry Stiller as Arthur Spooner, the outrageous father-in-law that lives in Doug and Carries basement after setting fire to his house, trying to cook on an old hot plate. Spence demonstrates intelligence and competence in a variety of pursuits, but he is haunted by his family history, his intimidating and troubled mother, and his inability to protect himself. I always felt the "King Of Queens" DVD sets (of which I have all nine seasons) lacked one important extra. There is very little in the way of stereo directional effects, but that appears to have been the intention of the producers.

The twenty discs ship in two oversized Amaray cases within a slip box that's less than tough but more than sturdy.Spencer " Spence" Olchin (played by Patton Oswalt) (recurring, season 3; main seasons 1–2, 4–9) is another friend of Doug's and the nerd of the group. I was hoping for the same kind of extras that Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, and The Office put into their season DVD releases. Arthur (Jerry Stiller) is an oddball, hilariously volatile old man who never says anything that isn't in anger or indignation.

Carrie (Leah Remini) is a legal assistant, vivacious, wise, and, on the face of it, way too good for Doug - a fact that informs much of the comedy here. John's University in Queens, where he received two bachelor's degrees, one in art history and one in music. excluding Deacons kids) I bet that anyone checking this box set out has seen a few episodes before and let me guess, you like it, well this is what you need to get!Creators: Chris Downey, Ilana Wernick, Jennifer Saxon, Liz Astrof, Michelle Nadar, Michelle Nader, David Litt, Michael J. to an inauspicious start with the pilot episode, which is riddled with fuzzy details and a low resolution softness. The great thing about this show is that it's so modest, so true to life, which is the reason why I, like so many others love it so much. It's funny to think that this kind of guy and this beautiful woman could have a chance, especially when they have their disagreements, but when they make up and have their loving moments, you know their meant for each other.
