The Ghost is made to last , the construction and well thought out layout will give it you options of how you want to use it . I find that with a full pack jamming a bottle into the pouch is difficult without a nice sized loop to hold on to. Great product, would have given 5 stars throughout but the zipper string on one of my zippers came out of the weatherproof casing the first time I unzipped. Consignments without the sender's address will not be processed and they will be disposed of after 60 days.
liters is around that three day pack size so much will depend on your needs, for a shorter hike [depending on what you carry] this pack may be overkill but for longer hauls, weekenders, overlanding and general travel the size is pretty much spot on, again, depending on your gear and how much you need to take. That's not to mention the entire "dump" area of the total external pouch as well as the zipper on the front of it that extends the entire area of the external pocket. I do wish 5hat it had paracor woven into the pick up handle and perhaps other parts of the bag but other then that amazing bag.
The ribs on the back padding are different but not uncomfortable they will just take some getting used. I was originally looking for a padded MOLLE belt and then stumbled on the Ghost with its included detachable padded belt with suspenders. Purchased this pack for all day range and admin use so i carry enough gear for any weather conditions and back up gear incase any of my primary goes down. It would be great to be able to detach the outer bag and attach it (with a hydration bladder) to a tactical vest. It is of the highest quality I have seen, and it's whole design is brilliant, elegant, modular, dynamic, and versatile. If hand or machine washing we advise to use colour-friendly detergents to maximise the colour life of your garment.
