It does have a glow, but you will never get the desired affect you want just from sunlight, instead you'll want a UV torch or bulb. One coat was actually enough but I did go over with a second coat just to make it that much more glowy!

I then tried a really thin layer of paint which dried a bit quicker but it wasn't very effective as the paint only really glowed when it was nice and thick. The glow effect is quite good though, but if you use enough to create a good glow the glue doesn't go transparent and is a visible whitish colour in daylight.
