It wouldn’t be Christmas without the cheesy and upbeat music that year after year is dug out for the festive season. The same old songs that have been around for donkeys years, but there are a few new songs that are hitting the Christmas tunes list that I most certainly approve of here are my most favourite Christmas songs that I adore to listen to…
Sia – Candy Cane Lane
Sia has only just recently released her Christmas album and it’s had so many plays on my Itunes. It’s a 10 original song album and Candy Cane Lane has to be my favourite by far!
Kelly Clarkson – Underneath The Tree
This song just puts you in the Christmas spirit. It’s one of those songs that you just can’t help dance too. It’s a very festive and uplifting song which will always remain one of my favourites.
Pentatonix – Hallelujah
Pentatonix have been one of my favourites for a while now. But when they released Christmas songs I fell in-love with them even more. This rendition of Hallelujah has to be my personal favourite of their Christmas songs. I’m also loving that Marks and Spencer’s also have them on their Christmas play list.
Michael Buble And Shania Twain – White Christmas
I’m going to put my hands up here and say that I’ve never been a Michael Buble kind of fan. However, when I first this rendition of White Christmas which pays homage to the original rendition as well as adding a country style twist to it. I instantly fell in-love. I adore Shania Twain so it’s just perfect to me.
Marina And The Diamonds – Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
If you know me then you know my love for Marina is massive. Then she dropped a one time Christmas song and my love for her grew even more. Her voice is just a fresh of breath air. I want her to bring out more Christmas songs. She has such a soft tone to her voice and it’s so soothing.
Gwen Stefani – Christmas Eve
Like Sia, Gwen Stefani has also made a Christmas album. Gwen Stefani’s is a mixture of old songs and some original songs too. Just like this song. It’s my favourite song off the album. A proper hearty Christmas song. Makes me feel so festive and warm.
Celine Dion – So This Is Christmas:
I’m a big fan of Celine Dion. I mean are you even gay if you’re not? Her voice I could just listen to over and over again. She puts in so much emotion to every song and this Christmas song isn’t lacking that! It’s on of those songs if you’re home alone and brave enough to try and do the notes that Celine does. I must say I’m guilty of doing this.
Ariana Grande – Last Christmas:
I love that Ariana took a classic song and put her own spin on it. She’s can’t do nothing wrong and this is why I love this song. It makes me feel super festive and I sing to it every time it comes on.
