Can't wait for the family to come over at xmas. There are a couple of singers in the family too so should be great! Even if i'm not doing karaoke, i just use it to play music from my phone using the bluetooth as i have speakers connected to my karaoke machine. If your TV has the Red/White/Yellow RCA inputs, connect to your TV using this method (cable is included), as this is an Analogue connection, and will process the sound much faster. We got it out for a family gathering last night and it completely made the night, we had so much fun.

Increase the volume on your TV, you may have to turn it up higher than you normally would to allow for the reduced music volume level on the Player. Very impressed with the quality of the karaoke player. Not over keen on having to change the discs but its still good fun for me and the family. Active speakers generally have a plug and do not require a separate amplifier. To connect to these, please strip the yellow cable from your RCA leads (red white and yellow cables). Ensure the yellow cable is connected from the karaoke machine to the TV. Connect the red and white cables to the active speakers.Setting up your brand new Vocal-Star is as easy as it gets. Red, White and Yellow RCA cables are supplied to connect to any television. Alternatively you can use a HDMI cable for the best possible sound and picture quality. It couldn’t be easier!

Best karaoke machine 2023: Sing your heart out with your

Saw this machine advertised as an 'all in one' player and thought i would see what it is like. I do not regret buying this as it comes in very handy for everything. I now use this as my standard DVD player and also for my CDs. I also love the karaoke function for when our friends are round for a few drinks, it always makes such a fun night. The screen is where the lyrics are displayed. Not many karaoke machines have a built-in display so this will normally be your TV, although you can also use a PC screen or your phone or tablet. For obvious reasons, a larger screen works better because it means that you can prance around the room and really perform the song rather than being stood in front of a small display, straining your eyes to read the lyrics. system works well but you do need to connect to external speakers as just using the TV alone the sound isnt great.

Vocal Star players will not play MP4. It will play most AVI formats, but some still will not work depending on how they have been formatted or what type of AVI file they are. That’s fine if you’re happy to use the karaoke videos on YouTube – search for the name of a song followed by “lyrics” or “karaoke” and you will probably find something suitable. The quality can vary, though, and every now and then you might end up accidentally watching a video of some random people at a karaoke bar.
