When I first sprayed it and during the first 15-20 minutes - I kinda enjoyed it, it smells good when first applying. It smells like this but they have somehow surrounded it with the stink of pickling vinegar and sweaty socks. I don't want to judge all this, but I would like to classify the fragrance objectively and compare it with Midnight Oud, which is a wonderfully successful dupe and is mentioned again and again. I was so curious and euphoric that I watched video after video on YouTube to know in advance what could possibly be behind these mysterious-looking ingredients - Saturday morning the doorbell rang: the sample was there.Noticable for sure everywhere - positive and negative compliments as well - There are a few replicas or copies of this (Swiss Arabian and similar) but I like this one so far only the best still! The "beastmode" bros are likely to love Interlude Man like they do Jubilation XXV (2007) for that alpha male dialed to 11 aesthetic it casts and again, if that's your vibe, good for you and all, but it's rarely me anymore. It has a specific for Amouage (men's frags cap in the shape of a sword holder and women's in the shape of a mosque.

You know, upon reading this i found myself running upstairs, to my fragrance collection and spraying just two sprays to middle of chest and back of neck. I applied a tiny pinhead droplet on my hand, rubbed it slowly on my other hand and hours later I can still smell that dark, smokey, heavy, spicy, woody, incense, balsamic scent. If you make a mix of Interlude and Black Saffron, Interlude will yield to Black Saffron, complementing it with background oud notes.So the on the day i received my bottle i put about 2 sprays on and my partner came home from work about an 2 hours later. In conclusion however, if money is an issue, Shaghaf Oud is a satisfactory clone, especially once they hit the long drydown. But after owning Interlude Man for four years and wearing it on many occasions, I can finally confess to not liking it at all. But the combination definitely works , like music it all comes together wonderfully , you might not appreciate some of the tracks are there unless isolated but they’re there playing their part adding to the fantastic whole . Many people make the mistake and close their minds to the incense without giving the other scents the chance of perception.

I’m in love with the honeyed opoponax and sensual amber (which reminds me of Roja Dove’s Amber Aoud. I've smelled similar fragrances when I was younger and this has a pretty common base like many fragrances back then. On a side note, my wife tolerates it, but does not particularly love it on me, so for getting compliments, this might not be the right frag. At the same time, it's a very intriguing smell, so it welcomes the right kind of company (close friends or loved ones).For the first time the Omani stand around the incense tree and communicate with the demon who is guarding the tree. This doesn't mean it's overly mature, but I think it's definitely a scent for those who can handle their own. One critique I'd like to offer, from a connoisseur's perspective, is that discerning this particular ingredient with such clarity suggests a less seamless blend.
