In my honest opinion they smelled much better with 1 to 3 sprays versus some of my other Freshies that may need say 4-6 sprays. Not a fan, its just I don't really get what this is supposed to be as the notes dont really blend to me. Unlike Leau Majuere which goes into a floral dry down from its metallic opening, this one starts off with a rougher metallic opening and goes down a more salty sea breeze kind of scent. Nothing ground breaking here (in fact it's very derivative), but I have to say it does have a lot going for it. You'd be forgiven for thinking this is another generic-blue-aquatic-bubblegum-synthetic-blah-blah-blah-whatever other pejoratives you want to throw at it-creation, and it does start out that way.

I do enjoy wearing both under the Malaysian sunny weather or should I precisely say hot with great humidity year round, both fragrance perform and project really well. This is a great summer filler, smells good and still gives off a sillage on the buss ride from work. It's refreshing but intense, with a strong smell of sea breeze, sea salt and wet wood dried in the sun on the beach. Bought this for my son for Christmas, and he wore it to work, came back and all the females had said, oh you smell lovely today.It’s worth it to add to your collection if you don’t have something smells like salty aromatic woody fragrance. An interesting release no doubt, perhaps it'll grow on me but to be honest I'm not sure if I'm willing to hold onto it long enough to find out. Evoking the sophistication of water in an intense, rich fragrance, this fragrance will unlock your infinite possibilities. One spray can also just fill an entire room, I’ve had people coming up to me walking 20+m behind me asking what it is.

L'EAU SUPER MAJEURE D'ISSEY by Issey Miyake is an «Eau de Toilette Intense» from the Woody Aquatic fragrance family for men. Sometimes the ambergris note is turned way up, to make a fragrance last longer (Light blue Intense) and that doesn't work for me. That thought came to life, because L’Eau Super Majeur D’Issey smells almost IDENTICAL to Wood by Febreeze.
The good for this one is it lasts about 6 hours of moderate projection but I can still pick it up at the 10 hour mark which is crazy for a scent in the freshy family. And the Cashmeran, Patchouli, Leather, and Smoke keeps that slightly darker feeling going through the mid and dry down. This woody aquatic fragrance has a blend of citruses, clary sage, rosemary, dark patchouli, tonka, madagascar vanilla, leather, and amber wood. The incense is maybe a little more prominent than I would like, but it does give it some personality.Below you can see the longest potential duration for storage on a device, as set when using the cookie method of storage and if there are any other methods used. Leans more ‘masculine’ for 25+… nothing special about this scent I’m afraid… there’s nothing to knock and nothing to praise. So based on multiple wearings now in fairly warm weather, I'm upgrading this from a cheap dumb reach for errands and the gym to my top shelf for summer day or night, casual or dressed up.
