The outer porch area although I kept zipped shut the entire time was a great help to keep muddy boots and a leaking cooler away from the sleeping area.

The tent next door had condensation problems from lack of ventilation and also let water in the front section. However, we learnt from our first experience that we will have to fold in the porch ground sheet as we woke up to a huge puddle. I think leaving the inner attached is something you need to try for yourself and make up your own mind.I've noticed that the warranty for a number of tent manufacturers seem to let them off the hook for most obvious potential defects. It makes one complete pole which will come supplied pre-strung with shock-cord elastic and will be ready to use with your tent. It's very intuitive to put up and adjust but I later found it impossible to get it all back in its bag at the wet and windy campsite. Retailer claims it's all outside of the warranty but offered to send me a replacement rod if I pay the postage.

I could see that this tent was a reasonable design, but the side doors were a disaster and would have been much better with two vertical zips and a mesh inner like the Bi Space. Like any tent with this material, it's like a sauna within seconds in the heat, but some space blankets see to that. we pitched literally about 20 feet from the bottom of Cadair Idris and then climbed the mountain after breakfast. The inner tent is made of breathable polyester with no-see-um mesh door (like a man trap when bevvied) and PE groundsheet base. The front door has two zippers on the sides so you can roll the flap above as shown in the picture below, or you can create an awning.A bathtub groundsheet, for the living area, was provided with the tent but this wasn't needed as the ground was dry.

If is a great tent, plenty of space for one or two people and has the all important porch area for getting out of wet bike gear. The tent was excellent and stayed bone dry throughout the festival and there was tremendous gusts of wind and extreme driving rain, i was so pleased to be dry and that the tent stayed there, using the supplied pegs.
