I have a shark cordless as well, and in my opinion any dyson wins hands down. We’ve had numerous vacuums over the years and dyson are my favourite. The price we paid was excellent and yes we know it's recon but you couldn't really tell, the recon job had been done very well. All the units in the box were in perfect condition and the battery only took an hour before it was ready to go. Emptying the bin is by far the best we've had and the mess slips easily into the waiting receptacle with no dust flooding out after the pet hair. We have bought some replacement filters as in past experience you are better off leaving the initial one longer than twenty four hours to dry.
