Unfortunately, there’s no cable or adapter for charging your brush from a bathroom shaver socket – only a USB connector. Years of drinking fizzy drinks did for my teeth, so I’m particularly intrigued by the Oclean X Pro Elite as a product, and just what it can do. But just like the Oclean One, we found that the pressure sensor is just there to know when you are actually brushing, but it does not warn you when you press too hard.

Despite being near silent when used with your mouth closed, it's a powerful performer, and cleans as thoroughly as a Sonicare brush thanks to its rapid vibrations and small brush head that easily reaches tricky-to-access areas. We should probably all do our bit to stunt the growing stereotype that the “British have bad teeth”, right? As great as it is for stylishly holding the toothbrush, it was equally disappointing to have it come with a white USB charging cable. Instead, you have to scroll through 2 screens to get to the battery screen which does show a clear percentage of battery life left. I will say that the product states to have a 2-hour quick charge and although we haven’t had to charge it from completely dead, it does charge fairly fast from our experiences so far.The Oclean X Pro Smart has a nice and clear screen but also allows adjustments of the modes via swiping on it. But trying to slide the little number wheel 3 numbers at a time from 18-32 is much more difficult than you might expect. The plaque control head is slightly bigger and has a tongue scraper built-in on the back of the head. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. There are no ports of any kind on the toothbrush, and instead, the device is to be wirelessly charged with the included charging pad.
