About this deal

The only place where I would find noise is at the end of some sides in the run out when there is no music just before the needle lifts. It's a great album anyway but hearing it on this pressing is as someone else said, like hearing it for the first time and getting the shivers.

I am listening to this right now immediately after listening to the CSNY Deja Vu deluxe box set, and while that album was never considered a great recording, the dynamics are *way* better than Joshua Tree. I try to have realistic expectations for vinyl but for a brand new pressing to have this much noise.

Additionally, there will be a two-CD edition of the 30th anniversary which will feature a colour version of the famous cover shot set on a white background. around the world selling in excess of 25 million copies and catapulting Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr " . Oh and the double heavy weight vinyl sticker is in the top right corner on the front of the sleeve instead of in the left bottom corner. The Joshua Tree was released to universal acclaim on March 9th 1987 and featured hit singles "With Or Without You","I Still Haven't Found What I’m Looking For" and "Where The Streets Have No Name".

The Zeppelin-esque 'Bullet The Blue Sky' and the wickedly haunting 'Red Hill Mining Town' and the Joshua tree inspired 'In God's Country' make this album the most celebrated album of the eighties. Lovely, solid slip-case with a sort of matte-textured finish and large gold foil Joshua Tree (smaller one on the back side). In the edit page, go to the 'Metadata' tab and add your Juno artist, label or release page for listeners to purchase your release / releases. Interesting to me no one has mentioned Chris Bellman's mastering - the choices, to me, are interesting. If you have a decent enough system this might end up sounding ok but I'd reccomend another version for sure. As Stone Turntable mentioned it sold millions when released (believe it's definitely in the top 20 best selling albums in history) so just keep your eyes peeled for an original pressing - think I read in other threads the US release is the most desirable. Since there are 4 sides there obviously are only a few songs on each side, like side 2 which only holds Bullet and Running. Isn't part of the point to press on 2 vinyl to use the whole side to achieve benefits of wider grooves? Time Magazine put U2 on its cover in April 1987, proclaiming them "Rock’s Hottest Ticket" in a defining year for the band that saw their arena dates roll into stadium shows to accommodate escalating demand - setting them on course to become one of the greatest live acts in the world today.
