This Bushnell Shield Series 9 Person Instant Cabin Tent 15 x 9 feet is a nicely designed 2-room strong construction with 2 doors and steel poles. There are 7 windows with mesh and panels here, plus mesh ceiling and floor vents, so ventilation is done properly. The inner floor area is 164 ft² (15.2 m²) and the peak height is 86 inches (219 cm). This is why is included in my list of very tall family camping tents. The weight is 36.4 lb (16.5 kg). The frame is steel and the partial coverage fly and the walls are polyester. Use the wind to your advantage. Angle the tent so the prevailing winds will blow through the mesh windows to help keep it cool in the summer.

This is a 3-room tent, so you have two sleeping rooms plus the screen area which is visible in the picture. It offers 189 ft² (17.55 m²), so it looks very big and it can indeed accommodate 9 people sleeping on the ground. For real family camping, it is best to downgrade it to 6 – 7 people.

The fly is partial coverage type and it creates the covered space in front of the door. They call it a vestibule but this is indeed just a porch. So the base is the same size as in some other tents of this brand, but they have added a full fly that also offers a relatively small vestibule. The tent has two doors and two rooms, plus several large windows. For the large declared capacity of 9 people, it seems very roomy inside and a great choice for 3 to 5 campers. The price seems quite reasonable based on its big size, plus you’re getting high-quality materials with a waterproof rating. The declared capacity is “9 to 10” people. But the floor area is only 140 ft² (13 m²), so again this can work perhaps in the case of a group at a summer festival when the tent is used only to spend the night on the floor. Nine-person tent prices

Though the area is not so impressive, the tent offers 148 ft² (13.8 m²) and this means 16.4 ft² (1.53 m²) per person. Not much but still better than in the tents above.
