About this deal

Here’s how it reached that goal, and why it’s still committed to making an even bigger impact in the years to come.

Inspiring good hand hygiene practices underpins the brand’s strategy and its business model across all markets it operates within. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Lifebuoy has adapted and evolved its campaign to drive handwashing behaviours in times of need, making handwashing messages engaging and memorable. Our aim is to make top quality African and Caribbean foods and drinks accessible and affordable to consumers in and around London, the United Kingdom and in the EU. Vitamins are part of our unique formulation, a blend of ingredients that work together to support the skin barrier to keep it in a healthy condition and maintain its natural defences against bacteria.Damages: Whilst every effort is made to ensure you receive your goods in perfect condition, in a small number of cases damages can occur during transit. The soap has excellent skin cleaning and cleansing properties - it helps wash away germs and it is suitable for the whole body. Photographed at the Museum in den Halven Maen, The Netherlands Advertising material for Lifebuoy Soap listing the product’s many uses. From helping to keep soldiers clean in both World Wars, to more recently running the world’s biggest handwashing programme reaching over 1 billion people since 2010!

To celebrate this year’s Global Handwashing Day on 15 October, Lifebuoy is announcing plans to recruit a group of Chief Education Officers (CEOs). These days, this is essential with MRSA and all the superbugs, e-coli, salmonella, and other viruses around. Washing your hands with soap and water is a great choice for cleaning your hands and helping remove dirt and germs. The disease has killed more than 300 million people in the last century, but with vaccination campaigns carried out throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, it was finally able to eradicate the disease.Although Lifebuoy is no longer produced in the US and UK, it is still being mass-produced by Unilever in Cyprus for the UK, EU (on hold and under investigation) and Brazilian markets, in Trinidad and Tobago for the Caribbean market, and in India for the Asian market. Sales, however, continued to decline until 2006, when Lifebuoy was officially completely pulled from the American market.
