Last July, it was discovered there were around 110 different Joy-Con colour combinations for the Switch and now we've got an updated list following on from Nintendo's announcement of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons themed system.

I almost bought the yellow ones time ago just because they look so nice! Much has been said about Right to Repair and new legislation is making it easier for consumers to obtain the tools, parts, and instructions to repair their own devices. Ultimately, being able to fix your own devices is a very good thing. It can be cheaper and, at least for me, extremely satisfying to know that I repaired my own stuff. It’s unknown exactly why these Nintendo Switch Joy-Con colors are being discontinued. Presumably, it’s because they weren’t popular enough to warrant continued production.Like hot and cold taps, these Joy-Con are colour coded to suit your mood. The neon colour brings to mind happy days in the '90s watching The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air before this humble scribe was sentenced to writing guides about Joy-Con colours. I definitely fall into the owning a set of grey controllers because the Neon set switch was sold out at launch category. Can be connected to the main console for use in the handheld mode, or shared with friends to enjoy two-player action in supported games

I'd also like to see more game themed ones officially from Nintendo. We got the LG Pokemon ones, but that color combo is hideous. Maybe we will get better ones from the 2019 game. We have the Smash ones too, but they are basically just grey with some highlights... Got the Grey with my switch, ended up buying the Super Mario Party Bundle for this Christmas for the Neon Green and Neon Yellow Joy-cons! I'm still baffled why Nintendo doesn't use this idea to the fullest. Unless it's some production issue.

They tap into the same same desire for pretty colourful things Apple has been hammering away at since the iPod. I really like those Pikachu and Eevee joycon but they cost an arm and a leg to get. Ohh well on that one. Finlderp I'm guessing it's when you're playing and the joy cons start slipping up and off the base. Happens to me always at the worst times in fifa Really, though. I only really like Splatoon ones. Others are OK, but Pokemon and Smash editions seem truly bland and uninspired. Why, Nintendo, why?! I have grey from launch and then the neon yellow. It is hard to explain just HOW bright they are until you see them in person. Pretty brilliant. I love them.
