The GTR 0.15ohm coil is the coil that comes pre-installed in the FORZ Tank 25. This coil is rated for 60-80W and I found it best at the high end of that range around 75-80W. If the FORZ TX80 could fire a little higher I would probably even use this coil at 85W. It’s a good coil that can take high wattages without being overwhelmed. Flavor from this coil is very good and coil life is superb. I refilled the tank more times than I can count and the coil was still going strong. The FORZ TX80 RDA Kit will give you the maximum freedom to build your own vaping experience. The FORZ TX80 has so many impressive moments waiting for you to discover. The flavour is quite good when vaped at the lowest recommendation of 40W and with airflow wide open. The 510 pin is off-center towards the front of the device, and the 25mm included tank fits flush when attached. On the side is a USB-C port for charging, which has a rubber protective plug, which helps it remain waterproof. The tank makes use of the new GTR coils to take advantage of the upgraded AXON 2 chip and its f(t) mode, providing a consistent and pure flavour from the e-liquid.

The mod is relatively compact considering its life-proof specs and is also host to the brand new AXON chip 2.0, the first chip we’ve seen to include an F(t) output mode, which claims to grant the user greater control of temperature output. This coil has an operating wattage of between 60-80 Watts with 70 Watts reportedly being the best. Personally I found anywhere up from 50 watts worked great and gave a nice saturated and dense vape with excellent flavour. Vaporesso have always been known for cramming nearly every option under the sun into their devices and the FORZ TX80 is no exception. This brought my attention to the poor screen.Not only was it dim, but it displays less information than you should expect from a single battery mod such as the SWAG II, Gen Nano or PM80 SE.In fact this screen is the same as they used on the more basic GTX ONE mod, which was fair enough as that had a tiny battery.Well I say the same, but it’s dimmer that the GTX ONE.I can only hazard a guess as to why,could it be that they needed to reduce the chipset/screens power consumption to deliver 80 watts and attempt to keep the battery life reasonable?Reducing the airflow to mid position results in a little more harshness to the exhale. Flavour quality is compromised and becomes mediocre at best.

The Forz TX80 tank does seem a little top-heavy but given its durability, you can forgive this and to be frank, after a while you don’t notice it.

Filling

The Boro tank adapter allows you to use virtually any Billet Box atomiser, which should come in handy for anyone with a big collection of Boro tanks.

Vaporesso describe it as providing a wider temperature range to assist with unique flavour compositions of e-liquid. The cons sound worse than it is, the perfect FORZ would have these sorted, but as it is, I still really like this kit, and now that it’s in normal use, I’ve pretty much forgotten any niggles.I finally have a lob-around kit in my collection and I’m pretty chuffed with it. Without a doubt the coils are designed for a loose, open and airy direct lung vape because that’s where they really shine – delivering a good flavour experience with stupid levels of cloud production. The drip tip was a very welcome change from the Vaporesso ‘norm’ as not only was it 810, but it also had some style with its tapered form and it being finished off with a metallic base.It matched the tank and mod perfectly, and I can’t see me replacing it anytime soon – nice one Vaporesso. Make sure the O rings are firmly compressed and that everything fits securely. It’s always best to prime the cotton before inserting the coil into the tank

None that I’ve noticed. I have had a little seeping from around the airflow ring at times, and light eliquid marks under the tank, but no dumping of fluid or noticeable leaking. If you really want to take the Vaporesso FORZ TX80 to the next level you can add the Vaporesso FORZ RDA Tank (sold separately) so you can build your own coils. As it was the default setting, I tried it and couldn’t work it out, it just seemed to vape the same as Pulse Mode for me, so off I popped to RTFM (Read The F**king Manual) and I can honestly say I am none the wiser??? All Electronic Cigarettes components have limited life span and will eventually need to be replaced.
