With New Years Eve just around the corner, I came stuck as to what to wear for this amazing night. I’m venturing out of little old Shropshire and venturing down to the big city of London. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, go watch the fireworks in the capital city. Every year has been the same where I planned to do it and nothing followed through. This year I was making sure my best friends and I were going. We booked a hotel (The hotel we stayed at in my previous London Vlog video “Linked Here“) Making our way down to London at 3:45 pm and then once we have arrived we shall go for a food to obviously line our stomachs ready for the large alcohol intake we are about to induce. After this, we shall return to the hotel and start preparations for the event. We shall arrive at our designated spot of watching the fireworks at around 8-9ish. I will make sure I film most of our night so you guys get to see what we get up to. We also plan some fun games back at the hotel too so you may see those. However back to my main point, I have chosen 4 outfits which I really love but I need your help to choose which one you’d like to see me wear. I have photographs of each and then a YouTube video also. Take a look and see which ones you like too.
So a couple of days ago ASOS released this video on YouTube showcasing their Autumn and Winter 2015 for guys and girls. I have to say, there are some amazing pieces in this collection and some I most certainly will be buying! Here is the video below…
I’ve always had a thing for a grid print and this just takes me over the edge. I really love the print and the style of the jumper is perfect for layering up in Autumn and Winter. The fact it is a black grid on white gives it that different twist to the normal white grid on black.
The jacket on the far right speaks to me like no other. I used to have a jacket like this from River Island but I got rid of it because I just didn’t like the colour. But this one from ASOS looks a perfect colour. I love the gold detailing on the cuffs and neckline as well as the gold buttons all the way through. A very smart-looking jacket that I most certainly will be buying!
I’ve always love a fur coat. But nowhere has really catered for men that love fur coats. Well ASOS most certainly have this year. I love a faux fur coat. I don’t know why but it always looks expensive and it most certainly looks as if it would keep you warm which is something I really need in Autumn and Winter. This is by far my favourite coat that I really want!
Now the outfit on the left appeals to me so much. Right down to the trainers which normally doesn’t appeal to me. I love the juxtaposition of the formal element of the outfit with the overcoat and wide leg trousers mixed with the casual trainer. I just really love it. Plus that the coat is an overcoat just appeals to me even more. I most certainly would love to buy this whole outfit!
So it’s that time of the month again where I show all you lovely followers out there what I’ve been buying this month. I have to say this month I have definitely got myself Autumn and Winter ready! I’ve also added a sneak peek at a piece of my Halloween costume for my Fashion Halloween photoshoot I want to do.
With Autumn well and truly here, it’s time to dig out the Autumn and Winter clothes. While shopping in Merry Hill, Dudley I found these amazing Denim dungarees that are girls yes from Topshop which I knew had my name written all over it. I’ve been looking for the perfect black denim dungarees for a year or two now. However, I nearly didn’t get them because of buying a size too big and also not looking at the label as it was a maternity dungarees! So I took it back and purchased a size 8 and made sure it wasn’t a maternity dungarees this time. Across the way was a beautiful red roll neck which I knew would go perfectly with the dungarees. Finishing the whole look with New Look men’s Chelsea Boots perfect for the winter months ahead and my Wide brim fedora for H&M. So I’ve done an outfit showcase for this look but will need to upload as soon as I come back from work later today.
With the British summer now fading away every so quickly I thought it was time to dig out my Autumn and Winter clothes. From my previous post about camel and how big it is this season, I thought I’d purchased a few extra items that were my favourite colour for the next few months. Starting with the camel trousers from ASOS, a pair of trousers I can easily dress up or dress down, layering up with my famous white eBay roll neck and adding that extra layer with my real Topman leather jacket add a camel wide brim fedora from ASOS and some fur lined boots which are also from ASOS and the look is complete and ready for those cold days and evenings.
So after I purchased an amazing Tartan Kimono from the reclaimed vintage section of ASOS and I had to show it off. So I thought what better way to showcase it then a runway style walk down the lane by my house. A follow-up video of my “Hello YouTube” which is in my previous post. I wanted the outfit to be a bit grungy so I threw on my trusted fedora hat and my creeper like shoes to tie the look together. Enjoy the video!
So yesterday the 13/05/2015 I went to Birmingham with my lovely friend Tom and we shopped till we dropped. River Island had recently had a refurbishment and it looked amazing so I had to take some Polaroids for it as it looked so good! We went around all the shops first eyeing up what we wanted and liked within the Bullring and then we thought it was time for something to eat. So Pizza Hut it was for an all you can eat buffet. An hour and a half later after we’d eaten half of Pizza Hut Tom took me to Cow Vintage and The Custard Factory which is a place I’ve never been too in Birmingham. Just a 5-10 minute walk from the bullring and you enter vintage heaven with an array of vintage shops and quirky outlet stores. While in Cow Vintage I found a pair of Denim dungarees that were a small. I was umming and ahhing whether I should get them or not as I had a few dungarees. But I thought to myself that I didn’t have any full length dungarees that were denim. £24 later I walked away from Cow vintage with a pair of denim dungarees. After our little vintage haul we went to Costa and had a little sit down, had a drink and a little people watching session.
After we had a little moment to ourselves we went back into the Bullring and purchased all the things we wanted. I only wanted a jacket from Zara that I had seen on the internet and I was hoping it was there. As I walked in I saw nothing, but walking up the stairs onto the next level it was there waiting for me to be purchased. £59.99 down but I had the most beautiful jacket ever. I can’t wait to style it and put an outfit together. Overall it was a really lovely day and something different to what I normally do. From being sprayed with every mens fragrance e possible to sissying that walk around the bullring. A very much-needed shopping spree and all round lovely day!
So today I went out for a little catch up with the lovely Tom who is a very dear tumblr friend of mine. We’re like exactly the same person when it comes to taste in music as well as our whole aesthetic. We went for a coffee at Starbucks for a little bitching session as well as a catch up on life. After we finished our little bitching session we went on a lovely walk in the sunshine and had a photography session against a gorgeous floral bush. Equipped with our Instax and Tom with his Polaroid we thought it would be a fun photo session. The whole aesthetic of the photo session was very Lana Del Rey vibe coming from it and I thought what a perfect way to showcase my outfit that I had on. So the outfit I was wearing you might have seen before in a previous post when I went to Disneyland minus the roll neck as it was too warm for that. My Zara jacket looked in place with this floral background it just looked stunning. Teamed up with my new white sweatshirt which you will see again in another photo shoot I’m planning on Monday. The sweatshirt was purchased from Ebay for £5.99! We enjoyed out little photo shoot and we definitely are going to do more of them as we both love photography and fashion so it’s perfect!
