This involves a conversation, applying their inverted commas skills. Here he can tell his Mum what happened in the forest and why he was so scared but then felt relieved because it was only an animal. It also involves building up skills for children to write about an event that happens in the forest to the main character where he sees something scary in the bushes, runs away and then realises it was only a small animal such as a bunny or an owl. This gives the children opportunity to show, not tell emotions of fear, nervousness and relief. Brazilian singer Demétrius (1942-2019) released a version of the song in Portuguese in 1964 as "O Ritmo Da Chuva". [29] Hall, Ron (1984). The Chum Chart Book. Jennifur Sun from RamonaThese guys were from my birthplace San Diego Calif. There were groups who made records that came from there but these guys had a hit that went far. Thanks guys. How did they do the rain part?Opening with Dee Clark’s stratospheric Chicago soul classic Raindrops, the carefully curated collection casts an uncommonly wide stylistic net encompassing R&B and blues by Billy (The Kid) Emerson, Big Maybelle, Christine Kittrell, and Irma Thomas, country by Lefty Frizzell, Merle Kilgore, and George Jones, and vocal group goodness via The Royal Jokers, The Prisonaires, and Little Anthony and The Imperials. Nielsen Business Media, Inc. (13 July 1963). Billboard. Nielsen Business Media, Inc. pp.30–. It was recorded by Sylvie Vartan, who released it as a single in 1963. The lyrics are sung by a man whose lover has left him; the rain falling reminds him 'what a fool' he has been. He rhetorically asks the rain for answers, but ultimately he wishes it would 'go away' and let him cry alone.
