Every month I think I’ll do a “Perfect Purchases” or every 2 weeks depending on what I spend on myself.
So seeing as the boxing day sales really wasn’t my thing this year, I logged straight onto eBay and went through all of the many unwanted Christmas gifts that people were getting rid of. There were so many things on there I wanted. I could of easily blew over £200 on there because the sheer amount of stuff people just didn’t want.
Out of all the things I saw I brought the things below (Apart from the shirt as that was full price from River Island) I brought some Holographic shoes originally priced at £50 from ASOS. My price £9.00 through eBay, They’ve never been worn as they still had stickers on the bottom of them. I’ve always loved anything holographic or metallic so when I saw them I had to get them. They’re a monk strap style shoe, I can’t wait to try different outfits with them as they’re such a bold piece to build a really cool outfit with.
Capes are really becoming something I’ve fallen in love with really hard. I’ve already got a black one and when I saw on eBay the one I wanted from Zara the bidding war commenced. My brother told me to put a ridiculous bid in for my maximum highest bid. I was willing to pay £30 for it as the one in Zara full price (that was now out of stock) was £70. So my highest maximum bid was £30.79. Someone was trying to out bid me so much and it got down to the last couple of seconds and they bidded £30.00, if it wasn’t for that 79p I would not have that beautiful Tartan cape. Again the cape is a bold statement piece so I’ll have to thin of an outfit that will have the focus around the cape yet still being quirky.
Finally my grid shirt that I mentioned in my other post (Grid Lock) finally came from River Island. Full price at £28 which is really good pricing for a cotton shirt, it’s a thick material so will keep me warm in the winter months. I love the pattern of the shirt as again I mentioned in my previous post, it’s the style that I can dress up with a blazer thrown over and black skinny jeans with my shiny brogues. As well as dressed down with a pair of skinny chinos rolled up with a pair of black penny loafers.
