About this deal

I think my kids are a tad young at age 3 and 4.5, as a lot of the questions don’t pertain to them about school, or some questions are over their heads. This would probably be ideal for ages 5 and older, or whenever your child starts school as there are quite a few school questions. Positive Reinforcement: When you consistently write about things you’re grateful for, you reinforce the neural pathways associated with positive thinking. Over time, this can contribute to a more optimistic and positive mindset. A habit does not have to be impressive for it to be useful. Journaling Prompts That Make Journaling Easy We all know, intuitively, that change is inevitable, but sometimes, it can be tough to recognize how much we’ve changed over time because we see ourselves every day. By capturing a small snapshot in my journal of who I was every day for five years, I now have a time capsule that’s allowed me to really see and appreciate how much I’ve changed. Set a Specific Time: Establish a consistent time each day for your “line a day” entry. This could be in the morning as you start your day, during a lunch break, or before bedtime. By associating your journaling with a particular time, you’re more likely to remember and integrate it into your routine.

Things look different in your head than when you write them down onto paper. When you write things down, it appears to be a little less personal. Additionally, this can also help you to better process information as you’ll be actively engaged in recalling it. A one line a day journal also acts as a 5 year diary with a short summary each day to jog your memory. Journaling provides proof of your progress. Writing down one sentence about what went well today gives you something powerful to look at when you’re feeling down. When you have a bad day, it can be easy to forget how much progress you have made. But with a journal, it’s easier to keep a sense of perspective. One glance at your previous entries and you have proof of how much you have grown over the months and years. Personal Growth: Expand on how writing a daily line encourages self-awareness and personal growth. Users can observe patterns, set intentions, and identify areas for improvement. Whatever you do, just start. You can always switch it up, but if you wait to find something that seems perfect, then you could end up missing years, like I did. With the one line a day journal, you can write your thoughts one day, cute things your kids said another day, or just happenings of the day. It’s short, flexible, and it’s daily. Not sure what to write? Journal prompts help you spark ideas. Here’s 365 daily journal prompts, in every category! 365 Daily Journal Prompts Daily journal prompts for every day Story prompt: You call up your best friend to chat, but he/she doesn’t know who you are. Write a story based on why or how that is. For me, journaling is an anecdote to my racing mind. I’ve struggled with anxiety and intrusive thoughts for years, and taking the time to sit down and process them all on paper has always worked better for me than any therapy or medication. However, due to the business of life, it’s something that always gets sidelined. I don’t prioritise it, even though I know I should.
