A limited edition run of blue vinyl CDs that have a solid blue ridged spiral running around the outside of the disc on the printed side, looking exactly like grooves in a record. It feels like poetry set to music, and even though many of the lyrics are simple (“All I really, really want our love to do is to bring out the best in me and you,” from the opening track All I Want), often the music seems to be accommodating the words. The emotion, thought, story telling, pictures she paints in your mind bring tears to your eyes, hope, optimism and make you happy to be alive. It features a collection of songs mainly themed around summer, with a few other little surprises thrown in. The album contains 14 tracks sourced from existing duets, songs that previously were not duets, translations from Spanish and a sprinkling of original compositions.

I bought the film soundtrack (the whole music selection for the film was pretty good) and then i bought the album Blue to see what the rest of Jonis work was like.Back in 1971 when I first heard the LP reviwed on a Saturday afternoon on Radio ONE I was 18 and rushed out and bourght it that same day. Songs such as "All I Want", "Carey", "California" and "A Case of You" work equally well as poetry and pop music.

E-CDs are created through the stamped multisession technology, which creates two sessions on a disc. It must contain certain specific files inside an ISO 9660 file system, though an HFS file system may also be included for compatibility with the classic Mac OS. The band now has a total of six Grammy Awards including three in 2010 for their breakout, RIAA Platinum album, Brothers.If you like albums where a lot happens, there is a really high brow, production with instruments coming in all directions, double tracked vocals and pulsating basslines and all that, then perhaps this album isn't for you. The discs are plain silver on top with no manufacturer logos for professional results, ready to be labelled or screen printed. The songs on here work beautifully together and really show off, not only Joni's wonderful, quirky vocals and instrumentation, proving that she is not only a talented singer, but a talented composer, not to mention a batch of great lyrics.
