Hades are fine to 25 yards, beyond that they are terrible in my smooth twist Crown barrel and a TX200.I ended up using my Weihrauch HW100 BP for this test, shooting the pellets at reduced distances of 15, 20 and 25 yards as these pellets just weren’t cutting it at anything further than that with my particular rifles. The front protruding 3 metal sections of the pellet when hitting flesh or bone spread out causing massive cavitation from the spinning and tumbling which can also be observed in ballistic gel. Ill be honest at 25M they were flat from my sub 12 push the distances out not sure what they would be like. But these days we’re seeing a blurring of the lines between a hunting pellet and target ammo, and JSB itself points out that the Hades isn’t just for hunting.I haven’t tried polymags out of this gun yet, but my r5m long 25 slings the polymags pretty good at 950fps. Becoming a firm favourite with pest controllers due to the accuracy and expansion from the pellets new design.
