About this deal

Very easy: only 3 points for covered card, do not use automa’s hoarder, do not use Automubon Society card, do not use Automa specific bonus cards etc. Pros – Great artwork, new birds, new powers, new bonus cards, able to play w/ 6-7 players now, and the new duet 1v1 mechanic. I’m almost exclusively a 1v1 player, so definitely excited to try out the duet mode. Seems like it will make playing birds more fun. I could go on and on about the great things to look forward to, but since most of the comments online already highlight these things, I digress to the “negative nancy” cons that I haven’t seen as much. For the uninitiated, Wingspan (and the existing European and Oceania expansions) are basically engine building games in which the players compete for hundreds of different bird cards, play them by spending appropriate foods, and then use their abilities to score the most points. Points come from the birds themselves, from eggs laid on the birds, from either hidden or public objective cards and from a few unique effects on certain bird cards.

I’m sorry about the missing eggs, Travis! If you fill out our replacement parts request form and mention which color of egg you’re missing, we can ship those to you. Maybe it’s because of the phenomenal quality, both in terms of gameplay and components, or maybe the rarely used theme has caught attention. Whatever it is, I managed to grab a copy of the game to see for myself. Wingspan Dylan: The key is that it isn’t an exception to the rule. Different cards are worded in different ways, with each containing its own meaning. If a card says to cache a food, you cache it. If a card says to gain a food and you may cache it, you can either keep it in your supply or cache it (the latter involves the same cache rules as always, no exceptions). The administrative management of Wingspan Solo’s automa is simple and accessible on every level. It’s low management, high output like any good machine should be. What’s more is that those lifelike interactions make for a superb replacement to what a real person would do. It’s really impressive and makes for a top challenge! But… that’s where the lifelikeness ends. High challenge.Azure Tit is a classic food-gaining bird. Its power is flexible, and it’s well worth the two food cost. This is a great early game Forest bird. A four-egg nest is just a bonus.

While I love the steam version, I would relly love to actively compete for a ranking in this game and see how I compare to players worldwide. (othe rthan the weekly challenges of course) Elaine, you’re correct that your daughter will need the Wingspan base game and the Oceania expansion. :) Here’s a discount code you can use to save 10% if you decide to buy them on our webstore: ELAINE10 Pamela: There are some fun things in the works here: https://stonemaiergames.com/games/wingspan/accessories/ When Activated: If there are at least 3 food cached on this card, add one (ANY FOOD) to your personal supply from the general supply. Otherwise, you may cache one (ANY FOOD) from your personal supply on this bird.

With the addition of 2 players’ worth of components in the expansion, we figured it might be worth exploring the possibility of expanding the game up to 7 players, something players have asked for.” Automa Welcoming some new species of bird to the world we know as Wingspan. Wingspan Asia is the third expansion and it comes with more vibrant, intriguing and marvellous birds from Asia. If you choose to use this power, do you move you action cube with the card and continue to the left in its new habitat? Or do you leave the cube and continue to the left in its original one?
