A great story of a granny who travelled to different countries around the world, picking up different cultural objects. Finally, there is also a map at the front and back of the book that shows the path of Granny's travels. The obvious one being Geography-using a world map and pinning all the places that Granny has visited;children can learn about the different cultures around the world.She has read and written poetry for as long as she can remember, and her favourite books include Louis Untermeyer? His round-the-world travels have provided much inspiration for his work, and his first trip to India in 1986 resulted in a one person show entitled ‘Wel-come To India’ which was followed by a book and a short BBC TV film of the same name. Since studying at the Royal College of Art, he has painted in numerous locations for exhibitions, commissions and publications.
