If you don’t know the difference between stereo and surround sound before this is the gaming headset to experience the wondrous possibilities of multi-channel virtual surround sound systems because of its 7.1 channel system that offers a more immersive gaming experience. For a budget headset, the sound quality is not too bad on the G951s. You get some decent bass, so it should sound great if you are playing your favorite online shooter. Like a lot of lower-priced headphones, you will lose sound quality at higher levels. If you are an audio enthusiast that likes to play it loud, you might want to consider spending a little more. That being said, the quality is not bad for the price you are paying. The outer part of the headband is built from metal and it provides strength and protection to the elastic headband. This metal headband is also where you can attach/detach the included cat ears. Xtrfy have absolutely smashed it with this mouse. It’s very difficult to compete with the absolute mass market behemoths like Logitech and Razer, but they’ve done and excellent job. If you’re a keen MMORPG player you may find yourself craving a few more side buttons, but for the games I enjoy and play day to day I don’t think a single other mouse at this price range can beat it. While the headset is lightweight, it is not flimsy by any means. It features a durable metal frame that will hold up really well over time. If you’re the type of gamer that gets a little rough with your equipment at times, you’ll appreciate the build quality here.In a similar sense, the retractable mic is decent enough. The noise-canceling did not seem to work, and the sound quality is noticeably fuzzy. It is nice having a mic that can retract into the headset, but if you need a mic for streaming or for long hours in team chat, this might not be the one for you. These aren’t cheap but if you are serious about streaming then one of these is a must. Personally, it would definitely have to be the HK Gaming pink mechanical keyboard. I use it everyday and it really wasn’t too expensive at all! I also love that it has the ability for you to add your own kawaii custom keycaps. The Razer Kraken Kitty gaming headset uses a wired USB connection for power and audio. And since USB is better for PC gaming than 3.5mm aux this gaming headset is more geared towards PC/console gamers rather than handhelds. Besides, the 4ft long braided cable is too long for mobile gamers anyway.
As far as comfort goes, this headset is very comfortable and really lightweight at 230 grams. The large oval earcups fit very well, and the cushions are nice and soft. You can also slide the earcups up and down on the headset to get the right fit. If you spend a lot of time playing games on your PlayStation, you will appreciate how comfortable the PlayStation Gold feels. On the bright side, the microphone on the H510 Zeus is just phenomenal and offers great clarity for your voice. You usually don’t expect to get a mic this good on headsets at this price point. The noise-canceling feature works well, and the mic is detachable, meaning you can easily get rid of it when you don’t need it. In case it isn’t clear by now, the G951s is a budget headset. You will get decent value, but you might wish you had paid a little more. If you need something cute now without spending a lot, this headset is worth consideration.
