Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application. Not sure if I’ve got a dead bottle but doesn’t last long at all, doesn’t smell anywhere near as good as the guy was making out on the video on TikTok. Scent wise to my nose, Kuro is more rough, possibly because of very prominent black pepper note, which gives the metallic tinge to the scent.

Firstly, this is nowhere a clone of Sauvage as many claim, I can say there is a hint of it in the opening but for few minutes only and I guess this is where people make this mistake. Kuro is a little less loud than Sauvage projection-wise but longevity for me is still very good with it lasting a solid 8-10hrs with around 10 sprays. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Don’t spray too many sprays on clothes as it lasts for 12+ hours and your head will start aching due to the strong concentrated smell. This smells similar to what I remember of the Sauvage edp and it definitely hits you with that “Oh, I’ve smelled this before!I never had Sauvage so my experience is just limited to a couple of sniffs at Sephora BUT Sauvage never really stood out to me as a unique scent. Smells fresh too but in a serious way, like you can imagine someone serious and handsome, putting on a sharp business suit and driving away in a luxury car to the office, and maybe smoking a couple of cigarettes while on the way to work.

Smells really nice, with decent projection and longevity (though again not to the level of Sauvage).I saw a lot of reviews stating it to be a cheaper alternative to Dior Sauvage so thought of going for it. If you're looking for a very versatile fragrance that suits most occasions and environments give this a try. This one is my workhorse fragrance that makes sure I smell clean, fresh, unassuming and well put together. Since the DNA is so popular I normally layer this with Elysium by Roja Dove or Club De Nuit Intense just to give it a twist and a new experience. As for projection and longevity, it does quite well in this regard, lasting the entire day and projecting for about 5 - 6 hours.

When it was dried down, the floral and woody is gone but there is some fresh spices and lavender on my skin. On the skin, it lingers for a solid 5-6 hours, but here's the secret: spray it on your clothes, and it can effortlessly last 7-8 hours indoors.
