So I’ve decided to post about my favourite outfits of every month, instead of doing an outfit a day as I just do not have the time or money to buy new clothes and take photos of them all the time.
So at the moment my favourite outfit has to be my new windowpane shirt from River Island. It’s one of my favourite shirts I’ve brought in a long while. I used to wear shirts all the time but lately I fell out of love with them because there wasn’t anything that was appealing to me. But when I saw this windowpane print shirt I just knew I had to have it. It’s a really bold statement print which is one of the reasons I love it, another reason is it looks the type of shirt I can dress up or I can dress down which I love. I love clothes the can be so versatile that they can be dressed up to a formal do or dressed down for everyday attire. I then team the shirt up with my Boohoo dungarees (yes it’s a woman’s dungarees but I don’t care!) I love this dungarees it’s just a fun and easy piece of clothing to wear, It’s a bit baggy for a size 8 but I just think I’m super tiny in stature anyway, it’s better for it to be baggy then super tight anyway, it means I can wear a baggy jumper underneath it. I normally roll the bottom of the legs up to just above my ankle and wear my little black socks with whatever shoes I think looks good with the outfit at the time. With this outfit I normally go with my chunky, patent, Dr Marten style shoes that I brought off eBay They’re so comfortable and just look so good with any outfit.
At the moment it’s still really cold so what I normally do is just throw my Topman cape over the top just while I’m outside or going from the car to indoors. I find dungarees really hard to try and style with a coat or jacket because it takes away that you’re wearing a dungarees, so I try not to wear a jacket or a coat unless it’s really cold.
This as it stands is my favourite outfit for January, I know this will probably change when my ASOS trench coat turns up today along with my stripe roll neck but that can definitely be my February look.
