It's like if in Avatar 3, after setting up the next dramatic tale on Pandora they instead cut back to earth and just tell the story of how humans are having a not great time there with global warming and no resources. The theatrical version of Dominion already feels bloated at 146 minutes, but this 4K release also includes an Extended Cut which runs 14 minutes longer.

When the alternative is a 4K release with the benefits that can come from that format, when the 3D is feeble/bad then, for me, a 4K 2D version can have a lot more to offer.The epic last hour of Jurassic World: Dominion is a brilliant showcase for how great an epic score composer Giacchino is. To the filmmakers’ credit, the pieces do eventually fit together, and Industrial Light and Magic’s dinosaur FX have never been better. provides a surprisingly organic and realistic vibe even while there is an abundance of CGI in these scenes. Even so, the water shots in the pond and then in the frozen lake were nicely effective in medium layers of 3D.

There are some scenes that are truly a spectacle and I can only imagine what they’d look like on a really large screen. From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. All in all, this is a fine looking—if somewhat garden-variety—4K presentation, with regular standout moments. That was an awful movie and I just can't bring myself to spend the money to complete my Thor 3D collection. Dinosaurs Among Us is a hour-long “making of” documentary in 10 parts that includes the Scary Real Animatronics sub-documentary within it.If all hope runs out for Avatar 2 (which i really think hope will not run out for a regular 3D release since its literally the sequel to the movie that gave birth to 3D in theaters and 3D Blu-Ray as we know it today) But god forbid IF then i hope RSM can somehow step in.
